SD EMS for Children's Occupant Restraint safety and injury prevention campaigns, programs and activities focus on the behaviors of drivers and passengers to reduce injuries and fatalities on our South Dakota roadways. Our mission of promoting best practice behavior for safety precautions while in a vehicle include proper fit and buckle up education, awareness campaigns, and resource distribution. We work with local partners to influence the South Dakota public to use proper fitted seat belts during activities such as It's Not Fine 'til They're 4'9", Choices Chances Decisions, and Protected.
