What is PEPP?
PEPP is a new national continuing education curriculum designed specifically for
First Responders, EMT-Basics, EMT-Intermediates, and EMT-Paramedics. The
course will help prehospital professionals learn and assimilate the fundamental
knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for assessing and treating ill or injured
children. Course content addresses the pediatric objectives identified by the
EMT-Basic and Paramedic NHSTA National Standard Curricula. The BLS course is
8 hours, and the ALS course is 16 hours.
